We have always had a soft spot for the wines of Christian Amiot and his wife Elisabeth (nee Servelle) whose 8ha Domain is based in Chambolle Musigny though they do have small parcels of Morey Saint Denis Village (0.45ha) along with Grand Crus in Clos Saint Denis (0.17ha) and Charmes Chambertin (0.19ha). The core of their holdings are in Chambolle including parcels in 5 Premier Crus including Les Amoureuses and all vineyards have all been farmed organically and certified since 2003. The wines are very accomplished, elegant and silky and the range showed really well.
