| A large crop and up until the middle of July it was one of the hottest on record. The problem was that effectively from mid July through to September there was almost continual rain. The resulting red wines were light and lacked any form of concentration that had little charm even at the time. I doubt there is anything of interest now. On the other hand the whites were thought to be good at the time, fragrant and fresh at the best. Again, I don’t expect any are really delivering pleasure now. |
